POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS - 2009
About AMMSI
The African Mathematics Millennium Science Initiative (AMMSI) is a distributed network of mathematics research, training and promotion, throughout sub-Saharan Africa, with five Regional Offices located in Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Kenya and Nigeria. It was established through the initiative of the Millennium Science Initiative (MSI), a programme administered by the Science Initiative Group (SIG), the Third World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) and the African Academy of Sciences (AAS). AMMSI currently operates in collaboration with the African Academy of Sciences (AAS). One of the main goals of the AMMSI is to strengthen mathematics learning and culture by supporting the training of postgraduate students in African institutions, through a number of mechanisms.
